The Trentham District Parents and Friends Group is an enthusiastic group of volunteer parents who work to support the school. This includes annual fundraising and social events such as Trivia Night, student lunches, and Mothers' and Fathers' Day stalls which help to build a strong sense of community and also provide valuable funds to improve the facilities and resources available to teachers and students.

What do we do?

The P&F is the major fundraising body for the school. Money raised is donated to the school to fulfill requests for extra equipment and resources.

Our activities include:

  • Welcome events for new families
  • Stalls for Mothers’ Day and Fathers’ Day
  • Trivia Night for parents and friends
  • Fun Run and Family Day
  • Footy Day, School Disco in conjunction with the Junior School council
  • General fundraisers (such as Bulbs)

As an incorporated association, the Trentham District P&F is registered with the DEECD and therefore governed by the attached Constitution. You can nominate for a position at the AGM by completing a Nomination form.

Why join?

Join us and actively participate in your child’s education.

We thrive on the enthusiasm, ideas and energy of new parents, and would love your participation. It is also a great way to make new friendships whilst working together for a common purpose.

P&F Meetings are held monthly and are very informal over a cup of tea or coffee as many of us have toddlers. Advance notice of all meetings is included in the School Newsletter and Konnective App.

Can’t commit?

We understand that parents cannot always commit to attend all meetings. We would love to see you when you can make it, or add your name to our “helpers’ list” for particular events during the year. Together we can improve the efficiency of fundraising whilst making it an enjoyable task. We look forward to meeting new members and sharing ideas for keeping Trentham District a great family school.

Join us to work together to achieve our goals of enhancing our children’s education.
