As well as having its own well-resourced school library, visits to Trentham community’s new local library have been a regular addition to the school’s program since the library’s opening in 2012.
The library program is an important part of sharing a lifelong love of learning with all students. It introduces students to the substantial range of resources and books on a wide range of topics at their disposal, and gives them the opportunity to explore and engage with these resources.
Our library visits reinforce the school’s philosophy of engaging closely with the wider community to maintain a strong-knit community. They also increase students’ exposure to different experiences, helping to build resilience and independence.
